Published in the 2020 winter issue of Change Seven.

Their creative aesthetic is described as: “… writing that comes from experience, is well-crafted, lyrical, distinctive, and accessible. Language is important. Your submission should be a highly burnished object of artistry. We like work that takes risks, that is morally unflinching, not for the sake of spectacle but for some daunting and tender rendering of truth.”

With this, they’re holding up a mirror to my intentions as a writer. My story is an expression of this intention. Read story.
